SOURCE · ESSENCE OF DAO Wu Dang Daoist Tai Chi

The foundation is ancient wood, marked by time.
The spirit is a visible breath, exhaled from the unseen.
Here, form begins.

Between movement and stillness,
a thread of ancient breath continues.

Where philosophy meets practice: Tai Chi, Yoga, and the art of being.

Formless Dao, coalescing into this form.
This body, a bridge between heaven and earth, breathing as one across time.

Teaching Philosophy

  • Wu Dang Daoist Tai Chi is philosophically grounded in the “DaoDeJing”, authored 2,600 years ago  by LaoZi, It is internal power—a 600-year-old tradition that cultivates resilience, mental clarity, and holistic wellness. This is not merely exercise; it is moving meditation rooted in Daoist philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles. unlocks the body’s innate capacity for self-healing and balance of Ying & Yang—what we call Jing (Essence), Qi (Energy), and Shen (Spirit).
  • Daoist Yoga, which is Miao created, is a harmonious blend of Tai Chi’s power-in-motion, Qigong’s vitality, yoga’s mindful alignment, and the wisdom of Daoist philosophy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (Five Elements), and modern yoga for holistic well-being.

The Path

Miao’s journey is a testament to the power of returning to one’s essence. From a Master’s in Fashion Design and a senior directorship in Milan’s elite circles, she has navigated a profound homecoming—not as a departure from her past, but as its ultimate integration.

Miao’s practice is a bridge between ancient wisdom and the modern seeker. She reveals Tai Chi not merely as exercise, but as a moving meditation that forges structural integrity from stillness, preventive wellness from energy cultivation, and unshakable mental fortitude from mindful movement.

A lifetime of discipline in martial arts, combined with a refined eye for form, rhythm, and composition from her background in art and design, has crystallized into a unique teaching methodology. She does not just instruct; she orchestrates an experience of return.

The Return

With deep reverence, Miao guides students to unlock their body’s innate blueprint for resilience, vitality, and profound peace, helping them navigate modern life from a foundation of inner strength and essential wholeness.
