Authentic Wudang Daoist Tai Chi
Rooted in Tradition, Designed for Modern Life, A 600-Year Legacy Now in CanadaDiscover the Inner Power and the Ancient Path to Wholeness::
Not an exercise, but a restoration project for your inner architecture.
This course teaches Daoist Tai Chi from the lineage of Master Zhang Sanfeng. It transcends physical movement to offer a precise “energy-body” regulation system. Through slow, intentional forms and deep breathing, we work directly with your nervous system to rebuild an inner anchor of stability, enhance decision-making clarity, and cultivate a grounded, unwavering calm rooted in the body. This is core training for the modern practitioner committed to profound mind-body integration.
As an officially certified disciple and direct discipleship under Wudang’s 15th-generation Sanfeng Tai Chi lineage and a Yoga Alliance senior instructor (RYT-500) with deep Daoist cultural immersion, I offer a transformative practice bridging ancient wisdom and contemporary well-being. Trained deeply on sacred Wudang Mountain—the birthplace of Tai Chi—I now bring these authentic, time-honored disciplines to modern wellness seekers.
What is Wu Dang Daoist Tai Chi and what we practice?
- Wu Dang Daoist Tai Chi is philosophically grounded in the “DaoDeJing”, authored 2,600 years ago by LaoZi, the foundational sage of Daoism. Daoist Tai Chi represents a genuine embodiment and practical application of ancient wisdom, with its most distinctive feature being the concept of Yin & Yang balance.
- Beyond being a mere sequence of movements, Wudang Tai Chi is deeply rooted in Daoist philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine. This 600-year-old internal martial art incorporates three core Daoist internal cultivation practices: breath regulation , guided energy flow, and energy gathering through postures like the HunYuan Stance(ZhanZhuang). The form engages the five vital organs and eight extraordinary meridians, Integrating both defensive and offensive applications with the intent of harmonizing Daoist health preservation methods.
- During practice, unity of form and breath, intention and energy, as well as energy and spirit are essential. Movements flow uninterrupted like clouds or running water, while breathing rises and falls naturally—deep, smooth, and rooted in every breath. Each posture serves to regulate both body and mind, promoting benefits such as loosening tendons and activating circulation, enriching blood and balancing energy, nourishing the internal organs, and cultivating mental tranquility. It is truly a Daoist art of longevity. At the same time, it cultivates the following three core dimensions:
Jing (Essence): Foundational vitality and physical resilience
Qi (Energy): Life force circulation and meridian activation
Shen (Spirit): Mental clarity and emotional balance

Qi Gong – Five Elements : Balance Your Inner Universe
Harmonize Your Body with Nature’s Rhythms
Personalized regulation at the level of elemental energy.
This course is based on Daoist Five Elements philosophy, aligning Qi Gong practice with your unique energetic profile. We do not merely teach movements; we guide you to identify your present energetic state (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) and apply targeted breathing and intention techniques to either nourish or regulate it accordingly. This is a highly personalized practice with one clear aim: to optimize your energy configuration in support of your specific life role—whether in creative work, leadership, or deep healing.
What is Daoist Five Elements Qigong?
Daoist Five-Form Qigong is a long-preserved health-preserving practice within the Daoist tradition and an ancient wellness art originating from the Wudang lineage. It has been a compulsory discipline for generations of Wudang disciples. This qigong system consists of five core forms: Tortoise, Snake, Dragon, Tiger, and Crane. These five animals are all considered sacred beings in traditional Daoist culture and correspond to the “Five Elements.” By imitating the movements and postures of these animals combined with breath guidance, practitioners can unblock meridians, enrich qi and blood, regulate the functions of internal organs, and achieve physical wellness and longevity. Furthermore, through the correspondence between the Five Elements—Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth—and human organs, seasons, emotions, and meridians, a complete system for harmonizing body and mind is established. It is a dynamic practice that integrates movement, breath, and intention with the five elemental forces of nature.
